Where has the time gone? This year is almost over? The last 2 months have FLOWN by! We have had a very busy October and November.
The biggest thing that happened in October was our sweet Biggie Molls took a very simple spill...in the grass... and broke her humorous. Something that didn't look that bad, turned into emergency surgery to put pins in her elbow. It was quite a week, but she is SO tough! We even ended up at a cabin the very evening of her all day surgery. Bright orange cast and all, she wasn't going to miss the annual cabin trip with her cousins! 3 weeks later, the cast was history and she is back to her crazy, adventurous self!
We also finished up Lacrosse season! Daddy LOVED coaching Emma's team. Emma learned a lot and Kate even got in there to sub at times when they were low on players! It was an exciting fall season and went fast! Looking forward to the spring!
Kate continues to enjoy gymnastics, and has been invited to join the gymnastics team beginning in January. It is like an "intro to team" level - where she gets comfortable competing and learning different skills. She is excited for this new challenge!
Molly has started ballet - and she is enjoying it very much (even though deep down inside she is a major Tom Boy at heart). We will see if this continues, or she trades her ballet slippers in for cleats like her daddy and sister!
We had some really fabulous trips this fall: Chattanooga with the girls for their first FALL BREAK! What a blast it was! Mike and I also enjoyed a trip to Indianapolis to see favorite friends and to celebrate a wedding too! We acted as though we were right back in college (We paid for that for a while!!)
We loved our time at the cabin with the whole Duche Family in October. We went to a new place, Big Canoe and it was BEAUTIFUL! We had wonderful weather, loved being together, watching our football teams, and having family pictures made! The only problem was it was too short!
We also enjoyed our time in Sunset Beach over Thanksgiving! The whole Barratt Clan was together which was extra special! We had family lacrosse games, lots of cousin love, we ran around the beach, and enjoyed and indulged on Gramma B's Thanksgiving meal!
Now onto the holiday season! Enjoy every second with family and friends! Our door is always open!

August and September 2015
It has been a busy 2 months - hard to believe that the kids have already had 7 weeks of school, Fall Break just ended, and now 6 weeks until Thanksgiving! Time as usual is flying by us!
The girls are adjusting to the new school year! Emma is in 4th grade and is LOVING it! She switches classes and says it prepares her for "college". Kate enjoys 2nd grade, enjoys she has more work than last year, and LOVES homework ... (WHAT?!), and Molly goes to her 3 year old preschool - 3 days a week and has SO much fun! Her best buddy is in class with her, so she couldn't be happier! Mike has been busy at work, moving offices, traveling to auto shows, and his newest adventure includes: Coaching U11 Lacrosse! Those are some lucky little girls - and a very happy Emma :) They both are having a GREAT season! Kate is continuing to tumble, and very close to getting her back hand spring. She is also working on bars and balance beam this fall and loves that as well! Molly has started gymnastics too and would stay there all day if she could - just wearing the leotard is one of her favorite parts! Fall is finally here so we've enjoyed Apple Picking, taking weekend trips to Chattanooga, hiking with Sully (our sweet boy turns 2 this month!), and watching football of coarse! GO BUCKS - GO IRISH!
We are already working on Halloween costumes and thinking about Christmas Gifts!
We hope you all have a wonderful fall! Know our door is always open here in Atlanta!
Lots of Love,
Mike, Amy, and the Girls
Sully too!

March and April 2015
I can't believe it's already MAY! We've had such a fun last few months with a lot going on! The big girls have enjoyed playing spring LAX together on a U9 team! The rain has put a damper on many games, but when they do play...they give it their ALL! Emma loves defense and cradling that lax ball, and Kate LOVES playing attack! Today was a special day because the two of them played attack together! Watching them run out there together all pumped up was a TREAT! Molly is their BIGGEST fan and can't wait to get out and play too! She has been enjoying swim lessons this spring. She is a bit more hesitant about the water (unlike the other two)...so we're trying to prep her for summer the best we can! She's learning quickly!
The girls continue to excel in school! Emma has participated in a BATTLE of the BOOKS competition all year, and last week she finished second place for her grade level! We are super proud of her! Kate loves reading and writing and is a student ambassador of her 1st grade class which is quite an accomplishment as well! Both have also been enjoying Girl Scouts this school year! Molly loves her class and her teachers. Daddy and I both were spoiled in her classroom these past two months! Mike had fun at BASEBALL for DAD'S day and I loved my MOTHER'S PICNIC!
We had a wonderful Easter (wayyyy too many Easter Egg Hunts) and enjoyed a quick getaway to Jacksonville Beach for a long weekend over spring break! Just having our toes in the sand after a very cold and wet winter was just what we needed!
Our Azaleas are out and Spring is finally here! Hard to believe there is only 1 month left of school! The girls are counting down!
We hope everyone is doing well! Our door is always open!
Love,

January and February 2015
We've had a busy two months of the new year! We started the year with a 7th celebration for Miss. Kate! She enjoyed painting canvases with her friends - she LOVES owls so that was the painting she chose :) We also enjoyed surprising our Papa in January. EVERYONE got together here and we showered him with love as we celebrated is retirement! It was so much fun - and there were lots of tears of joy shed that weekend! School has been busy for the big girls. They also finished up tumbling and started lacrosse! The two will play on the same team this spring - we are excited to watch them out there! Molly continues to enjoy her 2 days at school - recently she had farm day which was a big hit - her sisters and I both volunteered in her class that day! It's hard to believe that Molly turned 3 this valentine's day! She enjoyed celebrating with her little buddies and as a family we enjoyed taking her to Chuck E Cheese! It was nice to have both sets of grandparents here to celebrate with her! The girls also enjoyed their valentine's festivities and the big girls are loving their Girl Scout responsibilities....the biggest one : selling GIRL SCOUT COOKIES! We also have just started back to school after 2 weeks off (3 days of school in 2 weeks, and a LOT of online learning due to school closures!) Atlanta had a bit of winter weather...aka...threat of ice and snow...but not really any accumulation. The girls enjoyed their extra time at home, and we did get some sledding in (grass sledding basically).
I continue to stay busy tutoring, which I love! Mike is very busy with ATT and had the chance to work over in Barcelona which was quite an opportunity for him! We look forward to warm months ahead and we are ready for spring!
Lots of love to everyone!
Come visit!

November and December 2014
What a wonderful few months we've had! November and December FLEW by!!! In November, we spent the Thanksgiving holiday in Sunset Beach, North Carolina with Gramma and Grampa Bee and all the uncles! It was great having everyone together! We enjoyed Gramma Bee's big Thanksgiving Feast, and did some Ice Skating too!
The Month of December was full of holiday festivities that all three girls had going on! We enjoyed watching Molly perform in her first school play. I also kept busy as room mom in Emma and Kate's class! I enjoy every busy second of this time of year! We also enjoyed trips to see Santa, long drives to look at lights, picking out our family Christmas Tree, and waking up every morning to see what our elf Charlie was up to! Sully even behaved himself this Christmas and stayed away from all the decorations :)
We felt truly blessed that our families chose to come spend the holiday with us! We love having everyone together on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! We had a wonderful time! Santa spoiled the girls ...and us this year with a surprise trip to Disney World! We left 2 days after Christmas and it was go go go with stops in the Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Epcot! The trip truly was a magical way to end the year -- the smiles and laughs were the BEST!
Now onto 2015! Mike is starting the new year by running a 5K today, the girls will continue tumbling this month (perfecting their back handspring!), Molly is getting closer and closer to 3 ....how did that happen?!
Happy New Year to everyone! Make it the best year yet!
Come visit anytime!
Love to you all!
Mike, Amy, and the girls ...Sully too
